Our NSW Sales Team is seeking an experienced Account Manager, preferably with retail / youth / lifestyle brand experience, to join their team.
Your role will look after the Von Zipper, Nixon & Tigerlily ranges throughout the NSW Region. You will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and account management to retail clients to achieve targets.
Responsibilities:
- Execute seasonal sales plans
- Present product, ranges and information to clients to maximize exposure and opportunities
- Have a sound understanding of products, brand principles, benefits and company / brand history
- Have a sound understanding of marketing promotional plans, products and brand principles
- Provide a high quality account management service to retail clients
- Interpret reports on brand performance and promotional activity results
- Develop, prepare & present accurate information including indent, sales, product development, monthly returns, end of season, RIC and MIR reports
- Manage applicable expenditure within budget and maximise impact of promotional spend
- Develop and apply understanding of buying market trends, value chain
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline (desirable)
- Current unencumbered open drivers licence
- Demonstrated sales / account management experience with multiple brands
- Exposure to & understanding of retail market trends
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Knowledge and experience of systems and procedures relating to sales planning and reporting, merchandise planning and category management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding influencing skills to deal effectively with a broad range of internal and external customers
- High level presentation skills to demonstrate product, information and concepts to a range of retail clients
- Excellent planning skills and strong focus on measurement and results
- Capacity to meet tight deadlines within a dynamic environment
